Investigative by RUGIPO Amebo has shown that fear, anxiety, and perspicacity and threat by the management of RUGIPO has halted the 7-Days ultimatum given by the students Union Government of the school to re – open the institution.
Following the continued closure of the school, the students union of the institution had last week Tuesday issued a 7-Day ultimatum to Ondo State government and other stakeholders involved to re – open the school within seven Days stressing that the students are tired of sitting at home without a direction and proper information as regards the way forward.
The ULTIMATUM has lapsed today and the school has still remained closed.
A reliable source who close to the SUG President but don’t want his name mentioned told RUGIPO Amebo that the union leaders were bombarded with threat by the school BIG WINGS who don’t want the situation to get escalated and exacerbated .
Recall that the students union of the school made their position know through a Press release signed by it’s president, Comrade Ayejuyo Temitayo and it’s PRO, Comr. Ayodele Tobi Samuel
which was made available to Journalists.
According to the press release, the union leaders noted that the students have been made to unnecessarily stay at home for over 2months and running as this has caused lots of damages and irregularities to the plans of the Nigerian students.
Recall that the state security had ordered the closure of the institution on the 23rd of January, 2018 following the violent protest that rocked the institution following the policy of No School Fees, No exam.
Recall that two week ago, the panel of inquiry set up by the state governor to to determine the remote cause of the rampaged had said the students damaged properties worth of N168 million. However, the amount of money to be apportioned to each student has still remained unannounced.
Considering the threat by the school Big Wings, investigation by RUGIPO Amebo shows that the union leaders were scared of what the threat could result to, thus, making them to stop their plans.
RUGIPO Amebo gathered that the students leaders have now decided be aloof, sitting cross – leggy, accepting their faith and pining their hope in God.
