Amidst the AAUA Fee crises, Rufus Giwa Students Union Government has called on the State government to profer quick solutions to the inability of the students to return back to their classes.

The SUG in a Memo dated 10th April, 2018 expresses it’s displeasure at the students destructive protest that lead to the closure of the institution and then furthermore called on the Government to as a matter of urgency release the amount of reparation fee each student will have to pay for quick resumption.

The Student Union Government Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo Ondo State.

Press Release.
10th April 2018.

RUFUS GIWA AND HER ORDEALS: CALL BACK OUR STUDENTS.

The Student Union Government, which is the umbrella body of all student struggle, wishes to reiterate her support for her students and reassure you that we are solidly behind you.

The union also wants to strongly condemn the actions that saw to the destruction of the schools ICT center on the 22nd of January 2018.

In view of the incidence that took place, the students have been made to stay at home for over 2months and running as this has caused lots of damages and irregularities as to the plans of the Nigerian students.

Our students are tired of sitting at home without a direction and proper information as regards the way forward.
We agree strongly that we must pay for the damages done without fear or favor.

The union therefore calls for a quick resumption and declaration of REPARATION FEE, within the next 7days, to maintain the current peace we enjoy. (Working Days) starting from Today Tuesday 10th April 2018.

We want all necessary quarters to put all machinery in place to ensure our plight is strictly adhered to as we have in the few months past maintained a peaceful and friendly environment for all.

We will be anticipating our resumption as quickly as possible, as we want all students to prepare for resumptions jointly.

Aluta Continua!!!
