Students of the University Of Medical Sciences, ONDO (UNIMED) have stormed social media to raise alarm and show greviances on the proposed increments in their tuition fees.

The institution, Founded by the Olusegun Mimiko administration in 2015 has over a thousand student in the institution. Students at the institution has been paying between  182,000 and 242,000 as tuition fees for indigene and non indigene students over the years, However, The fees has now been hiked to around 350,000-500,000. Over 70% increments.

100 level students will now pay 350-400,000 and staylite will pay between 400-500,000

Student has however expressed their Sad feelings about the increment.

Adekunle Ajasin university, Rufus Giwa polytechnic and OSUSTECH, all state owned institutions  have previously experienced had increments in their tuition since the inception of the new administration.

We will not take this!! This is very bad, I’m a student of UNIMED, we struggle a lot to raise my fees at home, now there’s a 70% percent increment, I don’t want to drop out, please help!!???

APC has brought nothing but sadness to the students in Ondo State, 70% increment!! Just like that! This is not what we voted for.??
