Also in some reports, I was alleged to have collected the sum of 60,000 naira from the state governor in order to condemn the NANS leadership actions, movements and struggles.
I wish to use this medium to clearly and categorically dissociate myself and the Students’ Union of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo from the above allegations.
Therefore, below are my positions.
(1) I wish to reiterate that I am committed to the interest of Nigerian Students, the improvement of education sector and nation building.
(2) That I stand by the entire students of AAUA and OSUSTECH and I will never condemned the association I belong to. I am of the opinion that commitees be set up by the state government, to review the current tuition beign paid by students of two other institutions as it is currently beign done in my school, RUGIPO.
(3) That RUGIPO tuition fee has been reviewed to a certain level that will be convenient to all RUGIPO students and the amount will be announced very soon.
(4) I also urge concern individuals, association, organization, student populace and the general public to be weary and rebuke some persons trying to deface my good image before the student populace and the general public.
I am committed to the welfare of Nigerian students and I believe injury to one is injury to all, but justice can not be achieved through violence.
Yours in struggle
