Bruno Fernandes says his ultimate ambition at Manchester United is to help the club win another Premier League title.
The Portuguese midfielder has made an incredible impact at Old Trafford since joining in the January transfer window, and now he is targeting league success with his new club.
The 25-year-old has won three major trophies in his senior career but is yet to ever win a league title while playing in Italy, Portugal and now England.
Fernandes has already established himself as one of the key figures under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and now the Portugal international is eager to guide United to an historic 21st top-flight title.
“To be champion of a league,” he told Record when asked for his main ambition at United.
“In this case in the Premier League. It is certain that I already won with the selection (Portuguese national team), in the League of Nations. But of course I would like to win the European or the World Cup.”
When further pressed on his own personal goals and whether he wants to win the Ballon d’Or the United midfielder instead reiterated his desire for team success: “Everyone has ambitions,” he added. “But mine is to win the Premier League.”
