The Aspiring Governor of Ondo State, Adekunle Adeleye, has promised to disburse palliative to several villages across the state.
This was made known during his visit to the monarch of Igbo-Egunrin, HRM (Oba) Dr P. O Kalejaye JP, Akoledoye II, The Odede of Igbo-Egunrin, and said this would ease the effects of lockdown on the populace.
According to him, his aspiration towards being the Governor of the State remains intact and the supports of the villages will go a long way to making it a reality.
The residents of these villages made it known that the Aspiring Governor has been the first individual to stretch a kind hand to them since the coronavirus saga started across the country.
This, therefore, made him the first person to be distributing palliative in villages no one is talking about in this period.
He disclosed that the palliative to be disbursed will sustain a family for some days before there is need for another one.
He was, however, lauded by the King, Chief and Elders of Igbo-Egunrin for such move in a time like this, and encouraged to keep up the good work in the community.
They also pledged their support to him towards his aspiration of being the State Governor in few months time.
His visit to the village was accompanied by Chairman, AAC Ilaje Local Government, Mr. Ayantuga, Chief Akin Falumo, Leader Durojaiye, and countless others.
