“With Your Thousands Of Followers On Instagram, You Are Not Important” – Filmmaker Ugezu Ugezu Says

A nollywood practitioner, Ugezu J Ugezu has taken to his Instagram account to slam Instagram account of users who have hundreds of thousands of followers not to think they are important because of their huge followership.

The movie director, producer actor, said in his post that there are very important people on Instagram with as low as 1000 followers, who are very important than people with thousands of followers.

He said that this people are the powerful and the game changers of the society but only people who knows them knowns how important they are.

“There are POWERFUL PEOPLE, REAL TIME GAME CHANGERS, who do not have up to 1000 followers on Instagram. It has not made them less powerful. It is Idiocy to hold yourself as important because you have hundreds of thousands of followers. THE WORLD KNOW WHO IS WHO” he wrote.

In the caption section the filmmaker urge people to build good characters.

Though, the post look like a general advice to people because it comes like a form of advice but it can’t be said to be one. Because, the movie producer’s post might have been directed to someone.

Ugezu J Ugezu joined nollywood in 2000 as a producer and director but over time he moved to acting.

The respected nollywood filmmaker who’s also known as Mr. Surplus has directed and acted in many movies such as; Echoes of love, Bridge of contract, Jewel of the sun, Akweke, Marry who you love, Boys from Holland among many others.

The actor has. worked with the likes of Kenneth Okonkwo, Osita Iheme, Zubi Michael, Tonto Dikeh, Ini Edo, Ken Erics l, Chioma Chukwuka Apotha, Ngozi Ezeonu and many others.

Ugezu has also won many awards from prestigious organization such as the African Movies Academy Awards and MultiChoice Viewers Choice Awards for his creativity in movie production.
