Adorable nan knits little girl’s dream winter jumper after finding a cute picture she drew
A NAN has wowed the internet after she knitted her granddaughter’s dream winter jumper based on the picture she drew.
Julie Cordiner took to Twitter to share the amazing festive sweatshirt she crafted for the little girl after seeing her homework.
She posted a photo of her granddaughter’s drawing after she was told to design her own jumper at school ahead of Christmas Jumper Day.
After seeing the drawing, Julie decided to do her best to recreate it and clearly the little girl was thrilled with the gran sharing a snap of her delighted grandchild in her new sweater.
Captioning her tweet, she wrote: “My granddaughter had homework to design a Christmas jumper, so I decided to try to create it.
“The look on her face when she opened it was priceless! Merry Christmas everyone.”
Her tweet has since gone viral, receiving over 100,000 likes and thousands of comments from her followers who were seriously touched by her gesture.

A third wrote: “Crying, I’m crying. I’m a knitter and a trying crocheter and this touches my soul.”
Overwhelmed, Julie later responded to the feedback she had received.
She tweeted: “The response to this has been incredible, far beyond anything I imagined.
“I can’t keep up with replying to comments, but please know that I appreciate them all. Thank you so much.”
