#Opinion: Big Brother Naija Season Six Might Not Hold This Year For These Reasons
It is quite surprising that the season five of the popular big brother naija that started around July and ended around September, 2020 is the biggest edition of the big brother naija reality show since it started years in 2016. The last year’ s edition of the popular big brother naija has so many interesting housemates who are still in the limelight today as a result of the reality television. People like Ozo, Kiddwaya, Neo, Vee, TrickkyTee, Nengi, Lucy including the winner of the show, Laycon, are just the beneficiary of the goodness from big brother naija.
Now, coming to this year’ s edition of the show because it always hold every year since the reality show start, I think there might be some things that will hinder big brother from making this year’ s edition a reality, below are some of the reasons.
We all know that big brother was given a permission in last edition of the show to run it because lockdown was still active then, so this year might not be the same if lockdown is eventually imposed again. And the government are now being strict in their doing towards making sure corona virus become a past.
So another lockdown might be a reason for big brother naija season six edition not to hold.
2: Too Much Of Participants:
Based on how the story of Laycon went last year as he is one of those big brother naija changed their lives from worst to good, so many people might decide to partake in this year’ s edition of the show which will get people exposed to covid.
Though is not everyone that applied for big brother naija show will be accepted, but big brother always increase the number of participants each year, so increasing this year’ s participants will expose all the housemates to danger of covid19 in the house, so big brother might consider this and decide to skip year’ s edition.
