Burna Boy Allegedly DEMANDS N100 Million Appearance Fee From Rivers State Govt For Homecoming Show | IS IT TOO MUCH?

Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy is allegedly charging the Rivers state government a N100 Million fee before he performs at a homecoming show billed to hold later this month.

The above was revealed by a Port-Harcourt based A&R manager in a recent post on social media platform, Twitter.

According to the user with the handle @PH_prinx, the Grammy Award-winning singer charged the state government a whopping sum of 100 million naira alongside a private jet for transport before agreeing to perform at the homecoming concert held in his honour.

The concert is set to hold on Saturday 27th March 2021 at the EUI Event centre.

“Burna boy charging the Rivers state government a 100M appearance fee plus a private jet for his upcoming homecoming concert in port-Harcourt is very valid,” the tweet read.

Reactions have since trailed his tweet with some of the opinion that Burna Boy deserves to charge the state government that much while some others have stated that the price is simply ridiculous. See some reactions below;
