As reported on incessant road accidents along the Akungba-Ikare high way, Ondo state, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS, JOINT CAMPUS COMMUNITY, ONDO AXIS has moved it’s Secretariat to Akungba land.
Recall that there had been reports of three fatal road accidents along the tiny hilly road yesterday, 3rd February, in which lost of lives were lost to include both Students and indigenes.
The NANS JCC ONDO, took a bold step into the situation and moved her secretariat to Akungba community.
This report was read in their press release yesterday.
“Due to the massive increase in the rate at which accidents occur in Akungba and lives of Students are being lost since our last press statement, the leadership of NANS JCC Ondo hereby declare that its Secretariat has now been moved to Akungba Akoko, effective immediately”.
“However, by tomorrow morning, Friday, 4th of February, 2022, 8am, all roads leading into Akungba will be shut in a PEACEFUL demonstration until necessary measures are put in place”.
“We urge all students and residents of Akungba to note that this protest is aimed at securing their lives and properties. Violence will not be tolerated”.
