Police Arrests three robbery suspects in Nasarawa State

The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested three suspected armed robbers who had been disturbing the peace of residents of Karu Local Government Area of the state.

 

The Police Public Relations Officer, Ramhan Nansel, made the disclosure in a press statement made available to newsmen in Lafia on Tuesday.

 

He explained that the officers who arrested the suspects recovered some firearms, cartridges and a stolen vehicle from them.

 

The statement read in part, “The Nasarawa State Police Command in a bid to reduce crime to its lowest level, carried out an intelligence-led operation against criminals in Karu LGA and its environs.

 

“The Police operatives attached to New Karu Area Command via actionable intelligence, successfully apprehended the trio of Musa Mohammed, 33 years; Adams Lawal, 32 years; and Mark Friday, 32 years, all males.
