President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness and mourning over the passing of AVSE Wole Adetiran who, before his passing, was generally considered an accomplished music director and composer.
“I urge the family to take solace in the quality of life lived by the departed. He had left his footprints on the sands of time,” the president said.
President Buhari, in his remark, also noted that Wole Adetiran was a successful composer who had taken a path in his lifetime worthy of emulation.
“I urge the younger generation to learn lessons from devotion of the departed to both secular and spiritual things and how he excelled in all,” the condolence message read.
Mr. Wole Adetiran was popularly known as the composer of National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) anthem which is committed to memory by millions of graduates.
